Hey guys! So I wanna share all the newborn must haves! I think that being a new mom sometimes you get lost in what you need and what you don’t! I know that every baby is so different and certain things work for some and some don’t. We personally have a pretty hard baby and by hard, I mean he hates sleep! And we’re dealing with that right now. We just started sleep training and I’m so excited about it but also little exhausted! But I”ll go into that later and make sure to write a post about our journey with you! Anyways, let’s get to the list!
- Mommy’s Bliss Gripe Water- This gripe water is amazing! I know that you can purchase this either on Amazon or Target! I know that there is ton of different gripe water brands! But this one worked for us! Honestly, it was a tremendous help!
- Mam Pacifiers- these pacifiers are great! For some reason a lot of babies love them! And that’s not only coming for me, I heard a lot of mama’s say the same thing! It’s easy for baby to keep them in their mouth and they have them in different age range. Before I had my son, I bought every kind of pacifier there was because I had NO CLUE! So save your time and money and get some of these!
- Munchkin Pacifier Wipes- Well let me just say that the pacifier is going to fall out of their mouth a lot! It’ll hit the floor a few times. And I know that you won’t be running to the sink every single time to wash so get these wipes! They are very helpful, especially if you’re out and about.
- Swaddles- Okay, so there are a ton of different swaddles, like Swaddleme or Halo sack swaddle, Love to dream swaddle. You will need a few swaddles. You can try different brands to see which ones you will like more but you will need a swaddles for the first three months! Becoming a mama I didn’t know how important it was to have your baby swaddled but it helps them sleep because its nice and tight and cozy, which mimics the womb.
- White noise machine- You can order one off amazon or grab one at target. We have one in our room and in his room. But also, get the MyBaby Sound Spa- on the go portable white noise machine. Because if you want to go on vacation or weekend gateway, it will save you! Plus it’s small and easy to pack!
- Tommee Tippee Closer To Nature Baby Bottle- If you’re breastfeeding and or giving the bottle, these work great. Especially for breastfeeding mama’s since it mimics the breast and makes them suck instead of just pouring out!
- Angelcare baby bath- This little bath tub is inexpensive and works great! For us we like to travel a lot so taking this along makes it so easy. It’s small and you just place it in the bath anywhere!
- Boppy Original Newborn Lounger- My little guy loves this thing! We have it on our couch and I use it to read him books, play with him and or just have him lounge while he plays with his toes haha!
- Baby Bijorn Carrier- A lot of carriers are hard to put on, I don’t know why they make it difficult but some are just a nightmare! This baby carrier is easy to put on and off. This carrier saved my life! I mean my baby does not like to nap in his bed, so what do I do? Put on the baby carrier and have him nap while I get few things done.
- DockAtok- I know that they are pretty pricey, but it is so worth it! You can have your newborn nap on the couch while you can keep an eye on them, while you’re doing something in the kitchen or around the house! It helped us a lot in the beginning.
- And the last thing, I would say is get a nice compact stroller because you will use it a lot. We have the Nuna Mixx and I use it at the grocery store, to go on walk, restaurants, pretty much all the time!
